It is fashioned in heavy solid 14k rose gold with fabulous filigree work and amazing attention to detail. The stones are color change alexandrite made from lab sapphires. The stones test at 9 on the gem tester (the same as sapphire). They change from the purple you see in the picture to a midnight blue. This is a BOLD set with definite eye-catching appeal. When you were this one you WILL get noticed! The ring is a size 5 and can be sized. The top of the ring is over 3/4 inch in diameter and sits up 1/2 inch from the finger. Look at the amazing detail that ever the under side has! The ring is stamped 14 on the outside of the band (a little unusual). The pin is 1-1/2 inches in diameter and sits up 3/8 inch. It has a trombone style safety catch and is marked 14k on the pin stem. The pin stem is also solid gold. If you prefer a pendant this one could easily have a bale added. The bracelet is my absolute favorite piece in this set! It is 7 inches long and taking the clasp into consideration it will fit to 6-3/4 inch. This is most likely perfect for anyone who has a 7 inch wrist because you want this piece to fit snugly and not drape like a chain bracelet does. The bracelet is 1 inch at the widest point and sits up 3/8 inch. It is marked 14k. This set is in AMAZING condition! The stones are completely eye clean. With a loupe I saw a few teenie tiny flea bites, nearly not worth mentioning. There are some very light scratches on the gold as it was previously owned. I would consider the set to be in near mint condition. Each piece has been tested and is guaranteed to be 14k. Total weight is 42 grams. What a MAGNIFICENT vintage karat gold set!
